Marion County Regional Airport<\/strong> (FLP, KFLP) is located within the Ozark Mountain Range<\/strong>, one mile north of Flippin, Arkansas<\/strong>, and yes, you read that correctly. This is a small non-towered public field with one runway as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This field is attended from 9:00-3:00 Mon-Sat, with self-serve AvGas and Jet-A available 24\/7. There is only minor airframe and powerplant service here, and they don’t carry oxygen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are snacks and drinks in the FBO. The place is very clean and has a comfy lounging spot. There are also t-shirts available for sale at the counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where To Stay Near Marion County Regional Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can rent a cabin from Airbnb and have plenty of beautiful scenery to look at around here. Also available is the Driftwood Resort<\/strong>, located in Bull Shoals, 8.9 miles north of the airport. Expedia.com<\/a><\/strong> or VRBO<\/strong><\/a> would be a good choice, unless you came to stay with family or friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
