Where To Eat!
If you want more than snack food, you’ll have to go into town, but the Top Notch Texas BBQ should fill you up. If BBQ isn’t your thing, there’s Tex-Mex at The Plaza (Mexican) Restaurant & Bar, or park at JT’s Drive-In for a little nostalgia with your burger. Looking for a breakfast burrito? La Unica Taqueria is the place to go. For something a bit more unusual (for this part of the country anyway), try the Thai Kitchen.
Wherever you go, it’s all served up with genuine Texas hospitality!
Where To Drink!
The Plaza Restaurant & Bar is a great watering hole as well as a restaurant. If you want to watch sports, then G10’s Bar & Grill would be another good choice. You can get a glass of wine at the Dawson’s Family Restaurant. If you’re looking for something non-alcoholic, HTeaO is where you’ll find the good stuff.
In Conclusion
Childress Municipal Airport in Childress, Texas, is a great little stopping point. It may not have everything, but it has everything you need.
