Helena Regional Airport (HLN, KHLN) is a towered public field located 2 miles NE of Helena, Montana. The control tower is manned from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. There are four runways as follows:

FBOs & Services
Skyservice Helena provides 24/7 operations with after-hours call-out, ramp-side auto access, and concierge services. They have a pilot lounge, snooze room, showers, Wi-Fi, GPU, Lavatory, de-icing, and hangar space. Both AvGas and Jet-A, full and self-serve, are available. Parking is primarily ramp or tie-down, but you can check with the FBO about available hangar space. Additionally, this is a Landing Rights Airport. U.S. Customs is available on the south side of the airfield off Taxiway C.
There is a terminal and a small passenger waiting area. The security area includes a TSA Pre-Check line. The terminal is very modern and clean. You can buy a t-shirt or grab a beer.
Exec Air Montana, which appears to be an alias for Skyservice Helena, offers local aerial tours and private charter services across the U.S. and Canada.
Transportation
Courtesy cars and on‑field rental options make ground travel simple at Helena Regional Airport. To start, rental cars are available from Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, and Hertz, and travelers can also use Uber Rent or compare regional pricing through Carla Car Rental.
In addition, both Uber and Lyft operate in Helena, offering quick rides into town. Local taxi service is also available through Sunshine Taxi LLC, which provides direct pickups for airport travelers. For broader connections, Greyhound maintains a stop in Helena, giving visitors another way to reach nearby Montana cities.
Commercial traffic at this airport consists of daily flights to Denver, Seattle, and Salt Lake provided by United, Alaska, and Delta Air Lines.
Finally, parking is straightforward: short‑term parking is free for the first two hours, and long‑term parking is $6.00 per day (2026 rate).
