St. Cloud Sky Central Airport (STC, KSTC) is a towered, public airport 4 nautical miles east of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Sherburne County, and owned by the City of St. Cloud. There are two runways as follows:

The rebranding to “Sky Central” happened on September 30, 2025. Before that, it was known as St. Cloud Regional Airport for decades.
They do have limited seasonal commercial traffic provided by Allegiant to Punta Gorda, FL.
St. Cloud Aviation is the full-service FBO, offering both AvGas and Jet-A, maintenance, parts, parking, hangars, flight training, avionics, and pilot amenities. An important note: they offer de-icing and anti-icing services. You can also inquire here about leasing or charters.
This field is home to the St. Cloud Army Aviation Support Facility, a Minnesota National Guard installation. The unit normally hosts 6 Blackhawk and 6 Chinook helicopters.
Transportation
Crew cars are available on a first-come, first-served basis from St. Cloud Aviation. These are for local travel only and need to be returned within 2 hours. This FBO will also provide you with a rental car from Enterprise or Avis, which can be returned directly to the St. Cloud Aviation FBO.
The Metro Bus is here for budget-friendly local access. There is a designated area for Uber and Lyft, as well as various local taxi service providers. The Yellow Cab of St. Cloud, St. Cloud Taxi & Transport, and EliteTaxi are the top three rated companies. Inquire about limo service through St. Cloud Aviation. Carla Car Rental can find you the best deal on a rental car.
Shuttle services to Minneapolis/St. Paul and other regional destinations can be obtained from Executive Express and Lakes Express. In addition, several hotels in St. Cloud provide courtesy shuttles, offering convenient transfers from the airport.”

For a simple overnight, America’s Best Value Inn covers the basics if you just want a shower and a bed. AmericInn by Wyndham St. Cloud, MN I-94, adds a pool and hot tub at a fair price. The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson is a reliable mid-range choice within five miles of the airport, while the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn stands out with its own restaurant and riverside views. For travelers seeking more amenities, The Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Cloud by IHG gives a full-service experience with two pools, a basketball court, meeting rooms, and the Legends Bar & Grill.
Where To Eat and Drink
The closest place to grab a bite is the Cooper Kitchen Restaurant on US-10, which serves breakfast, burgers, and home-style comfort food.
The Coyote Moon Grille is upscale dining located at the Territory Golf Club, about a mile from the airport.
The White Horse Restaurant & Bar is downtown, but worth the trip. Everything from cheeseburgers to Thai green curry and cold beer. Highly rated and popular with the locals.
Also downtown, the Olde Brick House is a popular Irish-style pub for both eating and drinking, and Jules’ Bistro, which serves lighter fare and great coffee!

Things To Do
Munsinger & Clemens Gardens are located along the Mississippi River. Munsinger Gardens is filled with shaded paths and lush greenery, while Clemens Gardens shows off formal flowerbeds and fountains. These gardens change with the seasons but are open year-round with free admission.
Beaver Island Trail is a perfect riverside trail for walking, biking, or jogging. You can enjoy the view no matter what you’re doing. Nature lovers might also like Lake George or Quarry Park and Nature Preserve.
Check the schedule-there might be a hockey game in town at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center or a baseball game at Joe Faber Field.
In warmer weather, you can rent a kayak and “paddle your own canoe,” as they say, down the mighty Mississippi. You could also catch a round of golf at the 18-hole public course, Territory Golf Club.
For a nice family-oriented indoor day, visit the Stearns History Museum. There are interactive and static displays with outdoor gardens, for more temperate days. The city center is located in Stearns County, while the Airport itself is in Sherburne County.
