Laconia Municipal Airport (LCI, KLCI) is a public non-towered field located 2 miles NE of Gilford, and 4 driving miles NE of Laconia, New Hampshire, in Belknap County. There is one runway as follows:

Sky Bright is the full-service FBO on the field. Fuels available are full and self-serve, 100LL, and full-serve Jet-A. They offer plane-side valet service, a lounge, maintenance, and ramp, tiedown or hangar parking. Vehicle parking is free.
Transportation
The FBO offers courtesy transportation for crews and passengers, and a crew car is usually available. They can also arrange a rental, or you can do it yourself as Avis is on the field. Carla Car Rental can help if you have a favorite rental provider or want to shop for the best deal.
Local taxi services are available through Maggie’s Taxi and Steven’s Taxi. There are numerous others listed, but those two have the best ratings. Uber and Lyft both operate here.

The Best Western Plus Landmark Inn in downtown Laconia lends easy access to both the airport and the city.
Lake Opechee Inn & Spa is a boutique lakeside inn with fireplaces, spa services, and on-site dining.
The Margate Resort on Lake Winnipesaukee has a private beach and indoor pool.
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Laconia Gilford is a modern option just minutes from the airport.
The NASWA Resort has a private beach on Paugus Bay, offering on-site dining and quick access to town.
Fireside Inn & Suites Gilford at Lake Winnipesaukee offers easy access to Gilford and the lakefront.
Gunstock Inn & Suites is a nice inn near the Gunstock Mountain Resort. Certainly close enough to serve airport travelers.
The Summit Resort is a larger, family‑friendly resort with suites, and although it’s farther away, it’s still a reasonable drive.
Where To Eat And Drink
The Airport Country Store and Deli is within walking distance. If this is just a quick stop, you can grab a sandwich, snacks, or coffee here. A local favorite for sandwiches if you’re driving is Jon’s Roast Beef and Deli. (FB only, but there is a menu)
The Country Cook’n at the Lakeside serves comfort food, and Sawyers Dairy Bar (in summer) offers seafood baskets and ice cream, along with The Union Diner, all of which are a little over a mile away. The Union Diner is great for breakfast and has a very nostalgic feel. (FB page only)
Farther out are both the NazBar and Grill, a beachside bar, and The Blue Bistro, with upscale lakeside dining. Fratello’s Italian Grille, a relaxing spot serving pastas and seafood, is also a good choice. T-Bones Great American Eatery, with hearty American dishes, is not much farther.
Tavern 27 and the Dancing Rabbit Distillery are situated on the same property, offering the option of dinner paired with a unique local tasting experience. The Dancing Rabbit Distillery is the home of Dancing Rabbit Vodka, made with a fermented blend of apples and corn.

Things To Do
The Belknap Mill offers both guided tours and self-guided audio tours, rotating events, exhibits, and historic walking tours through Laconia. Mills and textiles were a significant source of early wealth in this region. Lake Winnipesaukee, minutes from the airport, features beaches, marinas, and scenic overlooks.
Weirs Beach has a boardwalk, arcades, lake cruises, and classic summer‑town energy. Try the Mount Washington Cruise; it’s an almost effortless way to enjoy the lake
Gunstock Mountain Resort offers year‑round outdoor recreation with panoramic lake and mountain views.
Meredith Village is full of shops, cafés, and waterfront dining with a charming Lakes Region setting. For the history buff, a short scenic drive will take you to the Wright Museum of WWII in Wolfeboro. If your timing is right, you might catch a concert at the BankNH Pavilion. Located in Gilford, it’s one of New England’s top outdoor concert venues.
