Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport (GOK) is a public, non-towered field located 2 miles south of Guthrie in Logan County, Oklahoma. A recent upgrade on the taxiway is now complete, and they will be starting construction on a new terminal and terminal apron later this Fall (2026). It is owned by the City of Guthrie and has one runway as follows:

FBO & Services
Guthrie–Edmond Aviation is a municipal FBO operated by the City of Guthrie. They have full-service Jet-A and AvGas, parking is ramp or tie-downs, with possible hangar space. They have a pilot lounge, restrooms, and a courtesy car. There is no full-time repair station on the field, but maintenance is available

Transportation
As mentioned, there is a courtesy car. Rental cars can be arranged through the FBO, but only with advance notice. There are no rental agencies in Guthrie. The nearest rental hub is in nearby Edmond.
If you are depending on public transportation, you’re out of luck here. Uber or Lyft is available most of the time, but this is a small town, so don’t count on it after midnight or before 6:00 a.m.

Stables Café (Closest Local Option) A longtime Guthrie favorite serving barbecue, burgers, and comfort food in a rustic, Western‑themed setting. It’s the nearest non‑chain restaurant to the airport and an easy stop for a quick meal.
The Blue Belle Saloon (Historic Downtown Bar) is a Guthrie landmark with a classic saloon atmosphere, live music on select nights, and a full bar. Popular with locals and visitors exploring the historic district. The place is famous for its deep Territorial‑era history. This is an 1889 Land Run saloon where Tom Mix worked as a bartender; Temple Houston, a famous frontier lawyer and son of Sam Houston, was a regular; and at one time it had a second‑floor bordello run by Madame Lizzie. Its mix of Wild West heritage, preserved architecture, and long‑running local legends makes it one of Guthrie’s most storied landmarks. Plus, it’s supposed to be haunted.

The Gentleman in photo #3 is Rick from Rick’s Fine Chocolates & Coffees (just call him “The Licorice Man”). Rick is a beloved local favorite known for his humor, hospitality, and his “Taste anything you want!” He’s the boss (when his wife’s not there) and is possibly related to Willie Wonka.

’89er Days Celebration (April) A weeklong celebration of the 1889 Land Run with a large parade, carnival, rodeo events, and family activities throughout downtown.
