There is no restaurant at this airport; however, there are multiple dining options in the Ho-Chunk Wisconsin Dells Hotel & Casino just over a mile from the field.
Still within 5 miles are Buffalo Phil’s Pizza & Grille, where your food is delivered by train, and it’s easily accessible from US-12. This would have been my favorite place as a kid. If you like the unusual or you brought children, this two-story eatery is the place to go!
The Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Co. is a Wisconsin Dells staple with easy parking, pub food, and craft beer.
If you’re looking for a more local, non-tourist meal in Baraboo, try Baraboo Burger Company, the Broadway Diner, or the Little Village Cafe (a local favorite).
In Baraboo, the Driftless Glen Distillery looks like a nice place for a taste of American whiskey-it sits right on the Baraboo River.

Circus World Museum – Baraboo is the original home of the Ringling Brothers. The museum is surprisingly well done and easy to explore in under an hour. If you’re traveling with kids, this is a guaranteed hit.
Pewit’s Nest State Natural Area – A scenic gorge with hiking trails and stream views; popular short hike near Baraboo. $16 gets you in.
Devil’s Lake State Park – Major regional attraction with hiking, lake views, beaches, and scenic overlooks; one of Wisconsin’s top outdoor destinations. A lesser‑known stop that’s genuinely impressive and pairs easily with Devil’s Lake is the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue in Rock Springs. Rescued lions, tigers, and other big cats, close enough to see, far away enough to feel safe.
Ochsner Park Zoo – Free-entry city zoo with a variety of animals; great quick stop in Baraboo.
Wisconsin Dells
Upper Dells Boat Tour – You board the Upper Dells boat tour in Wisconsin Dells, ride upriver, and the tour stops at Witches Gulch. Witches Gulch is only accessible via the Upper Dells Boat Tour; you can’t just drive up and walk in. The boat takes you through the gorge and drops you off at the slot canyon walkway.
Original Wisconsin Ducks – historic and crowd-pleasing! WWII‑era amphibious vehicles that tour the river and sandstone cliffs. Runs about an hour and is one of the Dells’ signature experiences. The tours run frequently and don’t require reservations.
Tom Foolery’s Adventure Park – Indoor rides, arcade, bowling, and climbing inside Kalahari Resort.
Timber Falls Adventure Park – Mini-golf and family attractions near the riverfront.
